Redefining Limits
Paracycling World Champion. Turning obstacles into opportunities.
For the past six years, my full focus has been on elite sports. But the journey began much earlier. Living with a physical disability in my hands and feet since birth, I subconsciously practiced, developed, and internalized many skills that benefit me today.
My success today is the moment when these countless puzzle pieces come together to form a complete picture. As a paracycling athlete and political scientist, I combine physical performance with analytical thinking.
Today, I am committed to the visibility of parasports and their inclusion in mainstream sports. Diversity is an asset: It makes teams more capable and resilient.

Passion
I draw my energy from the process. It's about finding your own path, constantly learning, and harmonizing countless details. For me, high performance is the result of curiosity and teamwork.
Nothing works in isolation. My 3D carbon shoes (with orthopedists) and the cockpit (developed with ETH engineer Luca Hasler / Engineered Objects) form a complex system. My mechanic (Traumbikes) ensures the perfect tune.

The plan is my anchor. It gives me the certainty at the starting line that I have done everything possible. Yet we start fresh every year – richer in experience. Nutrition, mindset, or equipment: We test the complete package.
Initially subconscious, now strategically chosen: My team is my most important asset. Whether coaches, sports doctors, family, or psychologists – I work with people I trust. People who deliberately want to apply their expertise beyond the "normal range" and find my challenges as exciting as I do.
In my keynotes, I take you on my journey: From a child who couldn't use standard solutions to a world champion who sees her disability as an opportunity. It is a story about mental strength, quality of life, and the courage to be different.
No Standard Solutions & Quality of Life
I can't play the piano – and I'm still happy. Even as a child, I learned: Happiness is relative. It takes creativity and practice to find your own ways. I focus on my strengths—on what I can do, not on what I can’t. Today, thanks to sports, my quality of life is higher than ever.
Leading in Uncertainty
My daily life as an elite athlete demands extreme flexibility: Unclear finances, changing race calendars, and lonely training camps. I am the CEO of my own "start-up" and coordinate a team of experts.
From Handicap to High-Tech
For me, there are no off-the-shelf solutions. Together with engineers, we develop 3D-printed handlebars and shoes. I show how we build a competitive advantage out of a supposed disadvantage.
Consistently at the world top in track & road since 2021.
Current contributions from TV, Press, and Podcasts.
Together to the top. Thank you for the tailwind on the way to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.
Heartfelt thanks for the extraordinary support!
